The Results Are In!
The winners of the West Midlands Wildlife Photography Competition 2005 are revealed
The West Midlands Wildlife Photography Competition 2005 was judged last November with photographer Nick Garbutt. The response was huge and after a long day considering the exciting, stunning and sometimes odd shots sent to us, we can now reveal the winners. There were four categories from which we chose a winner and runner-up, and also awarded a highly commended mark to those photos we thought deserved recognition. Picked from the winning entries, Danny Beath (Porcelain Mushrooms) is the overall West Midlands Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2005. Danny received a Sigma wide angle to telephoto zoom lens especially for a digital camera.
